Hitting the books isn’t the only way you can tread water this semester as University of Canberra are offering free lessons for those with little or no confidence around water activities.


Hosted at CISAC on Belconnen Way, the program begins next Monday, August 20 with an intensive week of 45-minute sessions which will be run teaching basic water skills & stroke techniques, as well as water survival skills in a safe and friendly environment.


Following the intensive week there will be five weekly lessons on a Wednesday, with individuals able to select between 11am – 11:45am, 12pm – 12:45pm and 1pm – 1:45pm session times.
